Working my way through “The Self-Directed IRA Handbook” by Mat Sorensen, an attorney with many years in the industry. It’s a very informative yet easy read, with particularly good details on pitfalls and prohibited transactions, IRA LLCs, and SOLO-401(k)s. If you are new to or considering self-direction, this book is worth the investment.
