Hi, I’m Shawn Selby, and I joined this network yesterday. I wanted to share a bit about what I do with all the potential lenders here. I buy land that’s off the market for around half its market value and then sell it with help from real estate agents. I’ve already bought and sold land 25 times! I always choose land that I can sell quickly. The plots are between 1 and 70 acres and sell for $25,000 to $200,000. We buy them for anywhere from $8,000 to over $100,000 each. So far, we’ve worked in 8 states. I like the eastern side of the U.S. because of the trees. I don’t do subdivides, but I’m open to it if the chance comes up. I prefer land because it doesn’t come with house problems like termites, mold, or plumbing issues.
