I am just looking to see if there are members on here that would be interested in pooling our money together to do the Semi deals with Kendrick. Please respond to this thread if you are interested.

Wow. I am glad to see so many people interested. I am looking into details for how to setup an LLC so that we could pool money and share the interest and taxes among all the investors. I just need to make sure we don’t violate any SEC regulations.

Last I heard 1 Semi deal is around $50k, so that would need to be the minimum we need as a group. If not everyone can contribute the same amount of money, then distributions of the returns would be based on how much each person contributes. But everyone’s actual returns would be an equal % of thier contribution.

Have you heard of Tribevest? You can pool your money there. They will open an LLC for you and set you up with a bank account! Makes it much easier!  I know several people in my investor group that set up some tribes to invest with Kendrick!

Also, minimum investment is $60k.  He is scaling up and purchasing newer trucks that will need less maintenance up front and will be easier to refinance.  I work with Kendrick, by the way, so if you have any questions feel free to reach out!

Thank you for the information Iris, I will definitely check out Tribevest!  I have been looking for something similar for a few different opportunities I want to bring friends into.

We will definitely want to talk to Kendrick and ask a few questions before we get started. Would you be interested in joining the investment group? We would love to have you in the pool with your experience in the program already.

Thanks Itguypw!  I am already investing with Kendrick separately, but I can try to answer any questions you may have about his program or using Tribevest.   I am part of a tribe we put together for a real estate deal, but I was not the person who set it up.  I know you need to have one person from your group be the lead contact person to set up the tribe and to distribute information to the other members.   Definitely get a hold of Kendrick with questions.  He likes to chat with everyone who is funding him! (But if you’re in a group maybe a group call or zoom might be better for him)  Let me know if I can help!

It looks like I could get between 12 and 15 people to join the pool. Each person would need to put a minimum of $4,500 to $5,000, but anyone could contribute more if they wanted. That would cover the fees on Tribe Invest and make the $60k buy in for the Semi. Everyone would get paid a percentage of the profits based on their percentage of the total group contribution. Any extra funds would remain in the account until we liquidate the pool.

I would be willing to lead the group and set it up on tribe invest. I would need firm commitments to have enough funds before paying for the tribe account.

I am brain storming the way to make the most of the pool. I am thinking a 5 year pool, we could pay out a small percent of the profits each quarter, like 15 to 20%, and then reinvest the rest. The first year we would get about 10% ROI. Then it would go up each year as we invest in more semis per quarter.  With like a 75% ROI in year 5 just from the quarterly dividends, and over a 500% return in capital at the end of the 5 years. In this hypothetical example: If you put it $5000, we when we close the pool you get your $5000 back plus $25,000 additional in addition to any of the quarterly dividends.
